If you are looking to get a dance floor make sure your reception hall doesnt have one already. It may not be in the room but it doesn't hurt to ask. Many other items may also be available from your reception venue.

Some rental companies will set up and take down their items for you. You may be getting charged for it and not even know you have the option to do it yourself (or delegate it to the best man/responsible groomsmen). Be sure to ask questions.

Many rental companies offer a discount for ordering in bulk. The more you reserve the cheaper it will be per item.
